B2B is proud to partner with Foundation Lacrosse Goalie School to

offer shooters and goalies this unique clinic model.

Located at The All Sports Center, Shoot & Save is a new clinic model offering shooters and goalies the opportunity to receive high level coaching and repetitions as well a chance to put those skills to work in controlled live-action drills.  Open to 4th-12th Grade boys and girls lacrosse players from all programs.

Each 2-hour session will be broken into two distinct segments: “Train” and “Compete”.

Train Segment

Goalies will get warm through a series of drills, technical work and live shots. This is the portion of the training where we dial in all of the details, big and small, that make goalies great and prepare them to be successful.

Shooters will work through stickwork and shooting drills that will help them learn the proper mechanics of shooting. We focus on the core mechanics of shooting to help our players maximize velocity, accuracy, and consistency to develop into a total body shooter both time and room as well as on the run.

Compete Segment

Goalies are challenged by the shooters in live-action controlled shooting drills. Each station is set up in a way that goalies are put in a position to be protected and drills are coned off to allow for our goalies to be successful. That said, this is designed to push our goalies to implement the techniques we work on in a dynamic environment, and the “Compete” segment of each session is meant to challenge goalies to be at their best in a challenging scenario. Shooters are given the opportunity to put their skills to work in live-action drills while also working on their accuracy.

Goalies are required to wear full equipment. Shooters are required to wear helmet and gloves only.

Stay tuned for announcement on our next Shoot & Save!
